Dr. Thadani is committed to serving those that are in need and in the underserved areas of the world.
Recently, Dr. Thadani joined a medical mission trip to an underserved and remote region of the Dominican Republic.
A team of over thirty volunteers with Casa De Luz, a medical mission organized by The Children’s National Medical Center were in attendance.
The team of four eye surgeons, which included Dr. Thadani, as well as multiple physicians and supporting staff donated their time and resources to help individuals suffering from various eye diseases. Cataract extraction, pterygium excisions, and strabismus surgeries were amongst the 80 surgeries performed during the seven-day mission.
